[comp.os.linux.announce] Pomade (Poor Man's DSSSL Environment)

This is to announce the first public release of Pomade, a
graphical frontend for James Clark's DSSSL engine Jade.
(DSSSL is an International Standard
for specifying the presentation of SGML documents.)
This might be helpful for people who want to work with the
Docbook DTD (the upcoming standard format for Linuxdoc), but
have no or little experience with SGML.
Pomade is implemented in Tcl/Tk, so it runs on most Unix
platforms and on Windows (NT, 95 and probably 98). You will
need the Tcl Interpreter and Jade. All the URLs are in the
As you might guess from Pomade's full name, "Poor Man's DSSSL
Environment", it is freeware. Use it and have fun, but be
warned that it hasn't been tested by anybody except me (so far).

(which makes for most of the size).
There is no Pomade homepage yet. There will be one in the
